Installing Acrylix
The file you get given doubles as a bootstrapper and UI. We've crafted Acrylix to be portable and easy to work with.
Common Issues
Anti-Virus
Due to the nature of Acrylix, your anti-virus may flag Acrylix as "malicious". This is what is known as a "False Positive".
In order to stop this, we suggest you add Acrylix's files as an exclusion for your anti-virus, you can do this through your anti-virus settings. If you don't have a dedicated anti-virus installed, Windows Defender is what would flag Acrylix.
Simply head to the settings, Windows Security, Virus & threat protection settings, and "Exclusions".
Install Errors
If you're getting installation errors, there's typically a few reasons why:
You're running Acrylix! Make sure you don't have Acrylix running already whilst trying to re-install it.
The anti-virus issue above often causes issues. Please ensure you have Acrylix set as an exclusion.
Permissions. Please try to run the installer as an administrator.
